I created a pose show (I've done them on other forums such as the PKC and RKC) but I tried to make a Canine Freestyle show and I couldn't find the "create thread" button on that section of the board. Is there a reason? Thanks for answering!

I second this. I assume we have to pass certain criteria to be a judge (like being active, know the placements and how to judge well etc.) but is there a post explaining how to become a judge?

Judges have to be approved, go HERE to fill out an application and PM it to Linsey It's pretty easy

Thanks Amy! What kind of show experience do you need? Just pose or do you need something else? I've held shows but they've all been on the PKC.

Your Welcome! I'm not sure, you'd have to ask Linsey. I doubt it's too big of a deal, as long as you know how to go about judging a show you should be fine. I'd say just PM her Looking forward to more judges!!!

For judging experience it can be any petz judging: pose shows, PKC shows,... best thing to do is open some pose shows here and judge those, also to show that you will not disappear in a few weeks (mostly for new members), seeing as we have lots of unactive members and judges (most of the last have been removed yesterday).

Is anyone permitted to host a pose show, or only certain individuals? I'd like to give back in the pose ring at least, and maybe I'll apply for the sports in the future.
I think being in the community since forever should count a little, ja?

Im 99.9% sure that anyone can host a pose show, but any other type you have to be an approved judge to hold ~Vanilla
