Title after passing this test: Canine Good Citizen Test (CGCT)
Guidelines:
Required Tasks:
Meeting a stranger While out on a walk, you will meet friends, this task shows your dog knows how to appropriately greet a stranger. The dog should sit quietly with no sign of getting up while a stranger approaches to greet it's handler. A calm expression is required on the dog while it looks forward at the stranger approaching.
Politely accept petting After asking for permission, your friend might like to pet your dog. During the petting he must remain calm and not become overly excited. He must also remember his manners. The dog should appear to be thoroughly enjoying being petted.
Grooming and condition The dog should calmly accept a brush or comb (any toy hexed from the two original brushes are allowed).
Walking Politely The dog should walk or trot calmly on a leash, walking a dog that you have to drag behind you or who drags you is not fun to walk. The dog should be calm and look at the camera (handler) or in the direction of travel. It should be moving along at a good pace, but not be rushing. Wearing a collar and leash is required unless some error of the game will not allow you to download and install clothing.
Walking through Distractions Walking in a relatively crowded area, it is important that the dog does not get distracted and bother other people. Because there are no people in Petz, you may use any toy. It must be something that the dog likes to play with, such as one of the balls, chew toy, bones, or stuffed animal. The dog should be walking calmly among a minimum of three toys. The dog's attention should be on the camera or in the direction of travel. Wearing a collar and leash is required unless some error of the game will not allow you to download and install clothing.
AND
Sit and Down It is important to demonstrate that a dog has basic training. There may be times when the handler must leave the dog in a stay and be able to trust that the dog will not move. The dog should demonstrate both a sit and a down. The sit can either be done using the treat or by picking the dog up and laying it down. The down should be the obedience down, not a sleepy/lazy down. It doesn't matter if the dog is facing the camera or not, but the dog's attention should be on the hand or the camera.
Come to Handler A dog who comes when called is crucial to it's safety. The dog should be eagerly and happily running towards either the right or left side of the screen. The eyes should be focused on the direction of travel. The dog should be showing speed by being in either a extended or a collected run position. A leash is not required for this task since in a real test, the leash would be dropped.
Behaving around another pet It is important that your dog is able to behave calmly around another pet. The dog can be either sitting or laying in an obedience down. The eyes should be on the camera and the other pet nearby should be in the picture. A cat or dog may be used, but please be sure to not use an identical pet so we can tell which is the pet being tested.
Distractions The dog should show bravery and courage among distractions. For this task, use the jack 'o lantern, the dog can be sitting, laying down, or standing next to the jack o' lantern. The dog may have a suprised or slightly fearful expression, but should no sign of running in fear and remain in place.
Peaceful Seperation There will be times the handler must leave the dog to go elsewhere. During these times, it is important that the dog be calm and not show signs of seperation anxiety. The dog should be in a lazy or sleepy down, appear calm but not asleep. The dog can be laying on one of the pillows or in a hexed toy such as a cage. If in a crate, cage, or pen a leash is not required.

Guidelines:
- Clothes and Toys: Because during a typical test, a dog would wear a collar and leash, they are highly encouraged. The collar should be a flat buckle collar. For those tasks that mention leashes specifically, not using a leash unless you have a problem with your game (which you should explain) will result in a deduction of points.
Expressions: The dog should appear to be pleased and enjoying the test and an aggressive, surprised, or fearful expression will result in failure. A tired expression will be faulted accordingly, the dog shouldn't look like it is bored or half-asleep. - Editing: Editing of pictures is NOT allowed. The pictures should each be displayed individually with the title above, below, or beside each picture.
- Judging: Each task will be judged as a pass/fail. Failure of any task will result in the requirement to retake the test. All passed photos may be reused.
- How to enter: This works the same as the draft dog test, you post a thread in this board for every individual dog with the title being the dogz showname.
